Volunteer information
Haines welcomes parents and community stakeholders who wish to contribute their valuable time and talents to enriching the academic experience of our students. There is a CPS Volunteer Policy in place for all volunteers. All prospective school volunteers must complete a volunteer application. You can begin the application process at https://chicagopublicschools.civicore.com. As part of the application process, volunteers must also bring in their identification to the main office after they receive a notification email from CPS stating that their application has been received. When completing the volunteer application process, volunteers can select to be a Level 1 or Level 2 volunteer.
